Mediated between the administration and the students on a variety of issues including discrimination, financial aid, academic flexibility, mental health, and general student concerns. Learned invaluable public speaking skills, conflict mitigation, powerpoint presentation skills, writing and editing of PR releases, and developed cohesive means of communication between student services and student representatives with their respective departments in the college.

Contributed to research based at the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, built a prototype of waste recepticles with recycled materials which was ultimately implemented campus-wide the following year. Scuba dove, free dove, and camped for recreation and research. Learned about solar and hydroponics business solutions to pressing matters of non-renewable energies and food insecurity.
