Planning and executing Measurements while Drilling (MWD), Logging while Drilling (LWD) and Directional Drilling (DD) service for clients in Eastern Europe. The projects ranged from high volume injection wells in Romania to multiple high complexity wells in the Eastern Mediterranean. This involved organizing teams of field personnel based across Europe and complex BHAs (Bottom Hole Assemblies) to deliver geological measurement solutions for our clients in a high-pressure environment of quick deadlines and tight budgets. Countries under my purview: Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Cyprus, Montenegro, Turkey and Greece.

The technical training, development, and engagement of over 500 field employees across North America and Canada. Engaged management, HR and the field population in order to meet business development (new technology) and financial goals (reducing head count per job through increased technical competency). Also responsible for verifying and vetting all field promotions to ensure a culture of meritocracy and technical achievement.

Maintained the business relationship between Schlumberger and the drilling rental tool vendors in North America. This includes, but not limited to: contract negotiation, pricing scheme development and managing the spend of over $2M monthly over 7 separate locations across the US.

Successful completion of field employee fixed step training and promotion. Worked with product line management to hit HR and operational goals within for the western US area within North America.

Being the single point of contact within D&M for internal personnel loans within North America. This was about 1400 employees at the time. Also helped coordinate work permits and visas for international loans ins/outs to distribute personnel during peaks of activity. This position was created as a result of a case study/project I completed as a field engineer.

• Was a lead Measurements While Drilling Engineer (MWD) in the Fayetteville Shale in Arkansas and a lead Directional Drilling Engineer (DD) in the Bakken Shale in North Dakota.• While in these roles took multiple classes in at the SugarLand Learning Center, these include basic MWD all the way to advanced LWD, Drilling Engineering, Well Design and Drilling Operations. • Experience includes: Horizontal drilling in unconventional shale plays, rotary steerable and motor drilling systems.
