I managed Technology and R&D efforts for the Creator Services business unit at Utopia, comprised of multiple engineering squads and associated product engineering teams. I was one of a group of 6 Engineering Management Leads for the company. Together with the CTO, our group led, developed and managed best practices, guidelines, communication and management skills, and mentorship for the technical organization for the company.I led US and European hiring efforts, along with developing interview and qualification standards and techniques for the company. We scaled the Creator Services business unit to over 40 new full time employees, worldwide, during my tenure. Collectively we scaled the company to 300+ employees in less than a year.In addition to the above, I continued to be hands-on with the ROSTR stack and engineering team, and was a key contributor and lead for the continued feature development and scaling of our product offerings to the ROSTR customer base.

I was Senior Engineering Manager for the Platform Server team, as well as Product Engineering Lead for User Monetization at DeNA West. My team was responsible for implementing services, solutions, optimizations, and new features for DeNA's Social Gaming Platform, Mobage.I was also the Product Engineering lead for all virtual currency, in-game inventory and financial/banking systems. Our systems processed hundreds of thousands of transactions over millions of requests per day, worldwide, across the entire Mobage platform.During the beginning of my career at ngmoco:) / DeNA, I began designing and engineering high-volume service-oriented architecture for the Mobage mobile social gaming networks.
