Small-scale aftermarket motorbike parts manufacturer• Developed low-volume motorbike parts such as radiator guards, bash plates, chain guards and tank mounts for in-house manufacturing• Liaised closely with machine operators to improve part quality and manufacturability with a rapid turnaround for design changes• Designed for manufacturing processes including sheet metal cutting and forming, milling and welding• Managed the transition from 2D CAD to 3D parametric CAD, reducing time to market for new parts from 1 month to 1 week • Developed standard documentation through Word and Excel, and drawing standards in Solidworks, to improve engineering workflow and quality

Student team developing a working race car for the Formula SAE competition• Led the design of the suspension system for the 2011 Monash University Formula SAE car, winner of the Australasian competition• Design and manufacture of complex, safety critical moving parts such as uprights, wishbones and anti-roll bars, with no failures in service• Developed an accurate and user friendly method for determining loads in suspension components, reducing design time and eliminating unnecessary overdesign• Applied design for manufacturability principles to reduce design and build cycle time from 10 months to 6 months, allowing extra time for testing and development
