Responsibilities include evaluating and creating offers for owned and contracted power generation units within a real-time competitive marketplace. I utilize various forecasting tools and critically analyze current market conditions to maximize asset value while maintaining electric reliability and operating within NERC and FERC rules and regulations. I work closely with electric operations, power operations, and system reliability to coordinate safe and economic operation of generation units.

Responsibilities include procuring and scheduling natural gas for 2 electric utilities and 2 LDC gas utilities in Wisconsin. I am also responsible for monthly baseload purchases, daily balancing and reconciling activities, performing closing activities on a monthly and weekly basis, monitoring and managing gas storage levels as well as pipeline capacity, and communicating to power marketing personnel current and future market conditions. I am also the primary natural gas hedger for our two Wisconsin LDC gas utilities.

Tasks and responsibilities include negotiating and writing complex contracts, requesting competitive bids and proposals using an e-sourcing tool, bid evaluation, re-negotiation of existing labor and service agreements, meet the requirements of internal customers, and general purchasing activities. Additional tasks included risk mitigation mainly through the conducting of financial evaluations of current and potential suppliers.

Tasks and responsibilities included conducting contract audit, creating and monitoring proposals with e-sourcing tool, assisting in creation of a new contract, creating and managing implementation strategy for new insurance tracking service, organizing an insurance requirements audit, and conducting financial analysis of current and potential suppliers.

Special Events responsibilities included collecting and filling orders, writing invoices, collecting payment, monitoring inventory status, servicing equipment, and supervising all activities. Merchandising responsibilities included product merchandising, stocking shelves, setting up displays, storage room organization, movement of product to the sales floor, communicating sales results to store and Pepsi, and build customer relationships at the store level.
