As a research associate at DiCE, I contributed to both the chemistry associated with building the DNA encoded libraries and off-DNA synthesis of hits from libraries for hit-confirmation.- Collaborated with medicinal chemistry project team to synthesize a small library of compounds for SAR studies- Gained solid-phase chemistry experience while continuing to build on my knowledge of medicinal chemistry and lead optimization- Interfaced with chemistry CROs to ensure correct synthesis of hits from library for hit-confirmation- Developed HPLC purification methods for in-house synthesis efforts and gained knowledge of LCMS and HPLC strategy and implementation for small molecule synthesis- Contributed to DNA encoded library "campaigns" where I played major role in preparation and testing of building blocks before library chemistry began- Gained proficiency in analyzing large data sets and presented important data in team meetings- Helped to maintain organized inventory of building blocks for use in library chemistry

With team of chemists and biologists, used small molecules as tools to understand biology relevant to a specific disease area. Designed and synthesized a library of small molecule analogues for SAR studies using novel metallaphotoredox procedures. Library gave promising compounds with drastically improved ADME properties.
