I employed all of these skills as the Founder of Nostalgia Salon (NYC's first regularly scheduled programming for Vaporwave and Future Funk). Starting a monthly event for an untapped niche audience from the ground up had many challenges. Among them were organizing my own staff, equipment, advertising etc., as well as making sure my patrons actually had an enjoyable time with not just the music and the lighting, but the streaming animations and other interactive elements.
