As product manager at Protection Guru I have managed the delivery of our flagship tool ProtectionGuruPro from concept through to full market launch. Working with our sales and development team I manage the ongoing strategy and roadmap for what has become an award winning insuretech that enables advisers to compare protection products based on the quality of the product and price side by side.I have worked with key partners including iPipeline, UnderwriteMe and Intelliflo to build integrations that allow data to flow between systems providing our end users with a more streamlined journey with no re-keying.I have also built and manage the main Protection Guru website, which is designed as a technical information hub for advisers to help them improve their knowledge of protection products and the features they provide. Again I have worked on the website from concept through to launch and regular write insights which are published on the site. I facilitate the Protection Guru Forums, which bring together advisers and insurers in order to discuss industry issues and the ways that these can be improved.

During my time as Head of Research I managed the research and benchmarking carried out by FTRC across both Protection and Adviser Technology. In adviser technology my role involved liasing with technology solutions to better understand what they offered, how they offered it and the types of companies they work with. I created and authored our Adviser Software Insights study which is a granular look at the different types of adviser software solutions including a run down of each software supplier offering solutions in the different segments and a detailed analysis of exactly what their solutions offer and who they integrate with. During my tenureI led many different consultancy projects for software suppliers, advice firms and product providers. These consultancy projects included support with software selection, reviews of software functionality, analysis of market trends, views on the future of the technology landscape and many other more bespoke projects.
