I am a versatile and self driven designer with over 18 years of design experience working on greetings cards, children’s books and public art commissions. My style is playful and colourful - easily adaptable for projects and briefs. I have excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Procreate - regularly taking refresher courses to make sure i’m on top of changing trends and design techniques. I am as confident working digitally as i am using traditional methods (I have a sketchbook and pen at all times) and enjoy combining the two to create unique designs and characters. I pride myself on having excellent commercial awareness - taking inspiration from visiting exhibitions, retail and online - continuously evolving my style and curiosity both in work and out. I am passionate about sharing my skills with others - leading creative workshops and mentorships with new designers. I am passionate about collaboration - my experience as a children’s book illustrator shows i am skilled in the relationship of word and image and how to make an eye catching design with my work being used for brands Marks & Spencers, Paperchase, Co-op and Tesco.
