Wampit® was an established free advertising service with local and trademarked operations in Australia, Canada, USA, mainland Europe (in local languages) and the UK. At its peak, Wampit® group achieved over 400,000 unique visitors each month and pushed rich content advertising (including video) in over 20m unique pages around the web. The business model was 100% self-serve (new and existing customers), and monetised via targeted textual and banner advertising, together with offering customers chargeable bolt-on extras to the free listing. Wampit® employed UK based customer service people serving all world sites, coupled with a dedicated development team in India.The service ran for over 8 years and finally closed in July 2017. All online business directories have experienced a decline in traffic over the last few years. This is largely due to the progression of Google Maps / Places resulting in a greater share of business searches returned by Google products.

Returned to Avis and took over responsible for the IT delivery of the new Avis and Budget websites (UX and booking engine) and mobile apps (iOS and Android) in the UK an EMEA, reporting to the CIO. The programme was large scale as I was responsible for a team of around 40 offshore developers / BAs with a further 10 onsite and a core ABG team of around 20 (Database / System Test / Tech Leads / Project Managers). Successfully completed my assignment and handed over to a permanent Programme Manager for transition to BAU.

Completed a consultancy assignment at BAT in Canary Wharf within their BI (Business Intelligence) function of circa 30 individuals.Main responsibilities include working with and coaching stakeholders, departmental managers, project / team managers in Agile principles.BAT have chosen a specific BI project that will be managed through to delivery (as a trial) - this will be based on lean Agile principles / process. All individuals working on the project have been trained on DSDM and my role is specifically to guide them through the process, ensure Agile principles are maintained and influence / shape the strategic direction of delivery methodology within the department.DSDM is the chosen Agile methodology, however, areas of SCRUM may also be incorporated into the trial and evaluated.

Contracted for six months and working in the IS Change Management Team to manage two key projects on behalf of the VW and Audi brand in the UK. First project was to take over and deliver two new online customer journeys; one on Audi.co.uk and the other on VW.co.uk This allows Small Business Customers to choose and explore makes / models before obtaining a tailored finance quotation. Managed internal stakeholders and IT individuals together with London based digital agencies that were contracted to design, build and deliver the technical solution (Razorfish and Tribal). This web development project had the added complexity of integrating into VWFS systems via webservice calls to obtain tailored finance quotations.Managed a BI (Business Intelligence) project to implement enhanced reporting capability across the five VW Group brands (VW | Skoda | SEAT | Audi | CV) whilst implementing a trial of new Agile processes within the requirements and build phases.

Worked as a Senior Delivery Manager within BSkyB’s e-Experience department in West London that is responsible for web development on Sky.com, e.g. product showcasing and online purchase journeys. I thoroughly enjoyed managing a selection of high-profile projects during the 6 month period, e.g. took over and managed the implementation of F1 content across Sky.com and a dedicated mini-site – this was delivered to particularly tight deadlines to coincide with significant marketing activity on TV and newspapers. Set up and managed a programme of activity to reengineer the online upgrade journeys to significantly increase conversions – initially delivered a new 'Sports' upgrade journey in under 12 weeks that outperformed agreed KPIs. 'Sports' upgrade used as a blueprint to plan / deliver remaining journeys via Agile methodology. Set up and created governance and structure to also reengineer the prospect acquisition purchase journeys – implemented new Agile processes to the requirement definition and project planning phases into the SCRUM technical teams. Projects included managing individuals / teams within Editorial, SCRUM Technical, User Experience, Design and Production.

Responsible for some of Yell’s most high-profile and strategic projects with Director level owners / stakeholders. Managed multiple project streams via both standard and Agile methodology in a matrix environment
