Supported the multi-disciplinary team in their screening efforts of small molecule therapeutics for drug targets expressed on glia and implicated in glial function. Focus on image-analysis to drive forward understanding of morphological phenotypes and their link to cellular function (in-vitro). Designed, tested, and implemented an automated image analysis pipeline for high-content images (fluorescent miscopy images of microglial cell cultures), leveraging a multitude of supervised, unsupervised, and self-supervised (ML/AI) methods. In addition, built a dashboard that enables the team to both view the results of a pre-defined set of analytical tests and conduct ad-hoc analysis.
