- Operated, repaired and tested a 1.35 kW T-100-3 Hall thruster under various power, magnetic and fuel conditions.- Measured several performance parameters with specialized equipment to determine krypton propellant performance.- Constructed a circuit for improved discharge stabilization in low-flow Hall thrusters (-47% nominal flow state).- Designed and prototyped several liquid-fed pulsed plasma thrusters (PPTs), utilizing low-energy surface flashover ignition technology.- Aided six doctorate and undergraduate students in PPT and Hall thruster development/fundamentals.
