Developed the first patent prosecution tools that made recommendations of what action to take next based on examiner-level prosecution data and ex parte appeals data. Assets were sold to LexisNexis IP and incorporated into their PatentAdvisor® data product.

Research Photolithography EngineerIntel Apr 2003 - Oct 2003Worked with a pathfinding assembly technology group to develop fab-based manufacturing processes for chip assembly. Proved the concept of an alternate process flow for an interconnect structure after the primary process flow failed following months of attempts, resulting in formation of an interconnect in one week’s time. Developed and performed proof of concept work for multiple lithography layers using aligner, laser, and stepper process equipment for semiconductor process flows for advanced backend interconnect processes. Gained exposure to wet etch, CVD, sputter, copper electroplating, thin silicon wafer, and bonding process equipment along with each tool's related processes and corresponding metrology equipment.

Assisted with developing a backend lithography process for Intel's Liquid Crystal on Silicon process resulting in U.S. Patent No. 7,312,152 and a number of international patents.
