At Twitch, I'm a member of the largest design team and I serve as the Design Lead for the Creator Business team. Our primary work is focused on understanding and solving problems for content creators across all phases of the Twitch streaming experience. By aligning the team through design vision work and a set of design strategies, I'm working with the team to make life easier and more fun for Twitch creators in areas like scheduling and promoting streaming content, reviewing and understanding results, and more.I'm happy exercising a broad range of skills, like design strategy, ideation, rapid prototyping, content strategy, and front-end development. One of the things I'm especially enjoying working with is the Twitch UI pattern library (SASS) with its BEM naming conventions and with each feature, I'm proactive in moving patterns forward to accommodate for better usability and broader application.

It's been a little over a year since the BrightRoll acquisition, and my work has changed somewhat to require more strategic thinking and leadership, both in terms of the product (leading design for the company's primary demand-side ad platform), and within the design team (e.g., experimenting with collaborative processes, like Facebook-style design critique sessions, etc.)

At BrightRoll, the leading video ad technology platform, I work on a fantastic UX team as a generalist UX/UI designer (i.e., I do research, design, and coding) focused primarily on improving users' experience by supporting their needs and goals and working closely with product managers and engineers to build the right features and products.
