As a founding member of the Engineering team and the Operating Systems Software Manager, I led the team responsible for the design, creation, and maintenance of the OpenWRT-based operating system for SmartRG’s carrier-class residential gateway product line. This operating system was the core intellectual property for which the company was eventually acquired by Adtran Inc.I demonstrated outstanding technical skills in leading the design and implementation of a network appliance for global manufacturing centers, successfully driving a 10% boost in gross margin of SmartRG hardware sales. The appliance has been used to manufacture millions of devices and remains in operation today by Adtran Inc.Additionally, I oversaw the creation of bespoke residential gateway software solutions for more than 100 customers across four continents, to reduce customer costs and drive customer revenues.
