Working directly under the head of transformation to design, specify and deliver a variety of digital transformation projects within the business. A couple will be listed in more detail but there were quite a number of different areas where transformation work was involved and required.Primary roles were around understanding the key stakeholder needs, analysing and assessing those against potential solutions and then designing or assisting in the purchases/delivery/implementation/data migrations/integrations to enable those elements to flourish. Supplementary requirements for the role were about critical thinking and analysis of other areas of business due to insights from experience.Partner Portal:This was a brand new endeavour for our business and allowed for transactions to take place in a fully automated fashion, allowing for sales of both our own products and those of external suppliers to be accurately searched, quoted and priced. This project was entirely bespoke from start to finish and has earned market recognition and allowed for our channel sales proposition to grow exponentially.GIS Platform:Market analysis, selection and specification of a GIS platform migration and the data associated. Required in order to meet automation needs and that of the business. As part of this project there was a requirement to design and specify how automation could be achieved to increase accuracy and reduce manual input into our sales tool. I am responsible for all technical designs, configurations and solutions that were presented out to all the customers - from a pre-sales point of view right through to the project stages and delivery.I am also instrumental in developing, creating and delivering a training package for all staff to partake in, generating reports, scores and allowing for progression. This was done from the ground up and was intended to resemble a professional accredited course that would ensure the staff were motivated and invested in.Designs would include large broadband delivery networks for both residential and business, often via wireless delivery mechanisms but also with fiber in some areas/networks. I would also be involved in Wi-Fi survey and design on an enterprise level utilising equipment from the majority of the top tier manufacturers.In the event of fault situations where the 1st and 2nd line engineers would be unable to resolve an issue I would be called upon. These issues would often be related to one of the following; licensed microwave backhaul equipment, wireless controllers, routers and switches, managed services and servers, VOIP/telephony, wireless point-to-point/point-to-multi-point equipment, websites/web applications and security appliances.
