I was recruited to build an entirely new engineering organization, move the infrastructure to public cloud, and completely rewrite the aging application into a modern platform with a consumer grade user experience --because the millions of workers in the field simply aren’t computer savvy.Accomplishments included migrating all clients and suppliers in one evening to the new “Connect Platform” and delivering a new standalone Analytics offering. The result was zero client churn; and within three months of launch, existing client sales rose over 30%. The new platform runs entirely on AWS across Europe, Asia and N. American and was rewritten entirely in Elm, Scala, GraphQL and MongoDB. Further, this new platform allowed Avetta to immediately acquire and migrate both its largest competitor and a tuck-in product acquisition.Avetta acquired by WCAS/TCV in 2018.
