Spatial Resolve specialises in spatial technologies. Integrating geographic and textual data, they provide spatial analyses and practical mapping solutions to address a multitude of different issues. My role supplies GIS services in consultation with our clients to achieve accurate and efficient solutions to spatial queries. I provide GIS capabilities which embrace a broad range of technical disciplines to assist and support clients, some examples include; Environmental Planning, Sustainability, Impact Assessment, Surface and Groundwater Hydrology, Tourism Analysis, Retail and Commercial Analysis, Property Development, Investment Due Diligence and Ecology and Natural Resource Assessment.

I was responsible for the daily operation of the Adelaide RPS office. Coordination of multi-disciplinary resources, namely hydrogeologist, environmental scientist, groundwater modellers, spatial professionals and engineers was mandatory in my role as general manager. I oversaw utilisation of resources and I was responsible for achieving budgeted utilisation goals and coordinate teams to deliver projects in a cost effective manner. I was also responsible for driving business development and ensuring that client relationships are formed and maintained, whilst delivering practical solutions. I was responsible for the contractual negotiations with clients, and was required to facilitate and deliver on client expectations and objectives. Working across multiple sectors, and with numerous stakeholders has allowed me to fully understand the needs of all entities involved, and deliver outcomes which seek to satisfy the objectives of all.My role incorporated strategic planning for the Adelaide office and South Eastern Australian operations, requiring market research and industry knowledge in order to identify current and future opportunities. This required an extensive knowledge of both private and public sectors..

Initially with Aquaterra (now RPS), I was employed to oversee and coordinate the role out of all spatial infrastructure, standards and procedures across the water business Australia wide (Adelaide, Perth, Echuca, Sydney and Brisbane). My role was to review the spatial setup within Aquaterra, consolidate internal systems and build spatial business development within the company. This involved obtaining a thorough understanding of the current spatial opportunities available with existing clients in existing industries, but also the identification of new clients and industry Aquaterra was previously unexposed to. From the roles infancy RPS now has solid spatial presence in all offices across the country, I was also instrumental in the acquisition of survey/spatial companies particularly on the East Coast having been involved in the due diligence process prior to acquisition. I also implemented leadership groups for spatial/survey teams across RPS to maintain communication and align synergies across the business to ensure that effective and efficient processes were in place to fully delivery RPS’s skills (coordination of tender bids, analysis of charge in/charge out rates, skill need identification etc.).

My role included work on a variety of spatial projects relating to a multitude of different disciplines. GIS solutions were provided for internal and external environmental and water clients, transport and infrastructure project support included railway route selection techniques and assisted in groundwater modelling and development of AEM products.

My role included the establishment and implementation of a GIS system, along with management and continual maintenance. He also assisted in research and due diligence for potential investment projects both locally and Australia-wide. Involved with researching and using GIS techniques to target future development hot spots and assist Buildev in the acquisition of these properties.

My role involved the creation, maintenance and management of tenure data for South Australia. I also provided assistance with the creation of land title diagrams, survey assistance and customer service.I also worked in the Geographic Names Unit to provide GIS services to internal public sector clients including, Native Title Office and DEWNR.
