The purpose of this investigation was to compile demographic information of participants in the program and to determine predictors of treatment compliance and severity of abusive behavior. We discovered, among several other findings, that the most abusive males were more likely to be unemployed, married, and have a history of substance abuse and domestic violence with previous partners. Additionally, more abusive men were less likely to complete the program.
