I did one to one peer support for carers for older people with physical and mental health challenges, primarily dementia. I worked in a multi-disciplinary team of Community Psychiatric Nurses, Psychiatrists and Occupational Therapists. My focus was on supporting the wellbeing of carers in an empathetic way, outside of the clinical focus of the person they cared for.

Providing weekly advocacy support over Zoom for autistic adults as a volunteer. This included supporting one individual to apply for university, funding, disabled students allowance, advocating for them while at university and providing ad hoc support with assignments.
