Responsibilities and experience include:- Task managing reporting for a large groundwater monitoring program of multiple contaminant plumes in fractured bedrock.- Supporting the construction, calibration, and predictive use of groundwater flow models (MODFLOW).- Task automation using Python and R. Examples include developing Python scripts to set up, simulate, and summarize a large number of Hydrus runs in a repeatable and efficient manner, and building R scripts to quickly and reproducibly analyze large environmental datasets.- Supporting water supply clients through analysis of production well interference, viability of treated wastewater injection systems, assessing the impacts of recharged treated wastewater on ambient groundwater, and optimization of groundwater monitoring programs.- Ongoing experience in various drilling methods and groundwater sampling methods.
