Production Coordinator
CurrentAfter a year and a half proudly serving as office PA for Logan, I was promoted to production coordinator. I was able to capitalize on my experience in my former position where I had begin to gain some familiarity with the post process, mostly QCing footage, but there was a lot still to learn. In conjunction with producers, I delegate tasks among teams of artists to meet (and if all goes well, exceed) client expectations across multiple ongoing projects. Thanks to Logan's wide scope of projects, I've been able to familiarize myself with many different production workflows -- character animation, CG device animation, 3D/2D design, type animation, motion graphics, museum exhibitions, etc. This means there's a large variety of artists to work with, varied in both specialty and personality. It's important as a production employee to be able to bring out the best in every artist and make sure the team is working well together. Many of the projects we work on are fast paced and it's important to stay organized and communicative with the team as well as the client. In this role, I've learned how to keep up with constant client communication. Working with companies like Apple, Meta, Starbucks, and more, we've been able to maintain a standard of excellence and satisfaction with those who provide us these exciting production opportunities. When things don't go as planned or there is an unexpected schedule or expectation shift, I've learned to navigate these moments with cooperation and compromise, making sure everyone gets what they need and we end with a beautiful finished project.
