CurrentAs the Director of Marketing and Communications for Thornwell, I lead a team of four talented individuals to develop and execute highly effective communications initiatives that elevate the story, brand, voice and mission of Thornwell. Through three specific focus areas - Mission Advancement, Programs, and Organization - my objective is to implement creative story telling and innovative marketing strategy that engages our respective audiences, and encourages the acquisition and retention of both our donors and the families we are proud to serve. **Communications**-Responsible for the development and execution of all communications initiatives within Thornwell's three state region, including executive, internal, program (external), donor and Trustee communications. -Chief strategist with proven track record of executing high-quality, audience-centric campaigns with strong return.-Responsible for the development and execution of "video-first" MarCom strategy to reinforce connection of key audiences to the heart of the mission.-Primary copywriter of all donor communications within robust annual appeals and stewardship content strategy.-Responsible for the creation of community-based communications that support the growth of and participation in Thornwell's continuum of care (programs) and retail enterprises that support the ministry. **Media and Public Relations**-Responsible for overseeing and developing strategic, compelling and creative public relations efforts, including media pitching, press releases, blog communications, and social media efforts.-Proven track record of successful media relations opportunities resulting in client and donor acquisition **Marketing**-Responsible for the implementation of traditional and digital marketing efforts, including media buying, traditional and digital advertising, ongoing social media efforts, and development of brand-focused creative collateral for 10+ programs and services across the ministry.
