I am a former professional ballerina currently shifting my career into the creative marketing space. I have a background in marketing, graphic design, and web development with a focus on the arts and entertainment industry. I have held multiple roles showcasing my expertise and proficiency in marketing strategies, branding, and digital media management. With a strong background in both the arts and creative marketing, I have worked to pioneer for the arts in Wilmington, NC for over six years. My breadth of experience in marketing, design, and dance illustrates my versatile skill set and dedication across multiple disciplines.With my experience in digital marketing and graphic design, I have become detail-oriented and product driven, but I have also learned how to solve problems in creative ways. By combining aesthetic design and accessibility with functional products and details, as well as analyzing audience consumption and interaction of those products, I know what digital designs and media are the most effective.During my time at University of South Carolina, I completed a marketing internship with the UofSC Department of Theatre and Dance. After graduating summa cum laude, I shifted my work at Wilmington Ballet Company to full-time in marketing, web design, and advertising. In these positions I gained valuable skills designing posters, flyers, and promotional videos for digital and print publications, as well as managing the distribution of those materials. I identify, take advantage of, and fully develop any opportunity that comes my way. Through multiple digital advertisement and marketing campaigns, I increased clients and sales over multiple years, expanding brand awareness and community involvement for Wilmington Ballet Company and its three affiliated organizations.
