Before my law school journey began, I worked as a Business Manager at Dillard's where I gained invaluable management, sales, and business planning skills. While at Texas A&M University, I served as a research assistant in the Culture in Mind Research Collaboratory (CMRC). At CMRC, I collected and analyzed data for the purpose of researching the relationship between psychology, culture, and social justice. I also had the opportunity to intern at the Hill County District Clerk's office where my interest in the legal field sparked. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M, I pursued a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law Houston (STCL). I had the opportunity to grow my legal skills through the Randall O. Sorrels Legal Clinics offered at STCL. By the time I graduated, I contributed over 300 hours in pro bono legal work in the Family Law and Actual Innocence clinics. Aside from this experience, I also served as a summer intern at The Law Office of Sonya Heath where I assisted in research and document drafting for family law matters. Additionally, I had the opportunity to serve as a law clerk at Roach & Mitchell, PLLC, a law firm that specializes in Municipal Utility Districts and Homeowners Associations. Upon graduation and passing the Texas Bar Exam, I worked as In-House Counsel for Wildcub, LLC, a real estate development company. Beginning in 2020, I worked as an Associate Attorney at The Tisdale Law Firm where I focused on family law matters. I currently work as an Associate Attorney at Rainey & Rainey, a firm focused on elder law.
