Supporters could created fundraising teams and all the money went to the Protection Plan. We acted as fundraising reps for each created team in our region and even helped brainstorm creative fundraising ideas for their group. Collectively, $1.7 million was raised through the Frontline Fundraising campaign. In merchandise sales, my team brought in $72,735.
Congo Tour 2011 Regional Representative

The Protection Plan included expanding a network of early-warning radios as well as construction of a brand new rehab center for former child soldiers.In addition, as a team of Regional Representatives, we were responsible for promoting and organizing a nationwide event called "25." On April 25th, thousands of people across the country went silent for 25 hours in remembrance of the 25 year war that was going on in central Africa. We also asked each supporter we met to raise $25. The money would be going to fund out Protection Plan.In the time leading up to the 25th, we instructed our audiences on how fundraise the money through individual fundraising pages, and integrated a competition aspect into the campaign. In the end, our supporters raised over $1.2 million. In merchandise sales, my team brought in $101,038.The money that was raised as well as other donations received, not only added twelve more radios to the existing network, but we were also able fund the rehab center and pay for it's first year operating costs.
