With my selection as a Contributing Author to UN Environment Programme's GEO-7 Report, I will be leveraging scientific knowledge to inform policy directions for developed and developing countries. Having developed more than 175 feedback loops between energy access and 16 SDGs from the social, economic and environmental dimensions of United Nations's 2030 Agenda within my PhD thesis at SESAM Polimi, I am thrilled about UN Environment Programme's interest in considering within the GEO-7 Report "the interactions and feedback loops between social, economics and environmental drivers to assess the effectiveness of difference policy responses towards achieving more environmentally sustainable pathways".If the relative neglect of the environmental dimension in the global development matrices led to the diverse environmental catastrophe that we face today, reversing the environmental losses will require a new development thinking to underline policy and practice, an imperative for green growth!

My passion for quality education delivery motivated me to implement six education-support programmes as personal and voluntary community development projects during my national youth service in Kano state, Nigeria. The projects ranged from free extramural classes; academic, career and mentor-ship seminars; acquisition and free distribution of learning materials, and weekly education and career counseling radio and television programme. The six projects addressed the poor commitments of high (secondary) school students to education due to their poor orientation of its potential impacts towards building bright future.Despite several security constraints due to the Boko Haram insurgencies in the state, the initiatives had about 800 student beneficiaries apart from the innumerable indirect beneficiaries of the weekly radio and television outreaches of the initiatives. I hope to replicate these round the country.
