 Ensure all billing activities are completed accurately and on time  Assists in the resolution of patient complains and concerns and resolves.  Lead the monthly billing cycle, including analytic reviews and the interface of data to the financial system  Oversee day to day activities of team members and monitor work assignments to ensure all resources are fully utilized  Proactively recommend continuous improvements to maximize efficiency and accuracy of existing systems and processes  Liaise with internal teams for changes to billing service  Act as a primary escalation point for operational issues in the team  Develops special reports and financial/billing statistics related to area activities as requested by management.  Review of manual billing for accuracy and approval of high dollar value invoices  Train and coach team members to support their personal development and departmental KPIs  Review departmental procedure documentation to ensure it is accurate and meets all standards  Personal development / participate in development training to meet personal potential  Work on ad-hoc projects as needed
