Appsceience provides a complete remote working environment, here I have been working on aSAAS web portal for drivers for last mile delivery in USA. The system is built on AWSFargate and EC2.I delivered the functionality for the Recruitement Portal which allows drivers to interact,search, apply for a job, this was done using Django, Postgresql, Elasticsearch and React.The Application Tracking System for the companies posting the jobs has been built on PHP.SQS, SNS, websockets and JSON API is used extensively for communication between thedifferent components.A new experience for me was building a web scraper with Node.js, using Express, AWS SQSand Puppeteer with a producer/consumer design flow.

Manage overall software roadmap, refactor code for readability, re-usability. Teach Perl to the team. Migrate to VPS. Migrate code to GIT while minimizing client customizations. Reverse engineer attendance machines communications to provide automated upload of attendance to relevant databases.

My area of focus was designing and developing new products, and analyzing current trends inthe field to suggest changes and new products. I worked on embedded Linux systems, and wasdirectly involved in the selection of the embedded systems module, selection of tool chains,firmware development, firmware upgrade options, embedded web server development,debugging, etc. Products that I have worked on include, RT-1 (Remote alarms system withModbus expansion), RT-2 (Remote alarm Modbus gateway over GPRS), MM4K, MM5K(SNMP, Pushover, Modbus TCP/RTU). Linux based Remote SCADA software FMS, whichhas been successfully deployed in many locations in Singapore, including Changi Airport. TheFacility Management System that I developed allowed hundreds of devices with thousands ofparameters to be connected to a central server, where the data could be viewed in real timeusing multiple dashboards, customized for each group of users

I designed embedded systems for environmental monitoring and control. My main design areawas in firmware development, however I was also involved in hardware development inmaking suggestions and changes as required for making the software and hardwarecompatible. I have developed firmware for GSM, PSTN and LAN based modules, using highspeed 8 / 16 / 32 -Bit Microcontrollers and Microprocessors. I implemented SMTP (Email)and SMS alerting on the bare metal systems and implemented circular buffer logging onNVRAM. I used Ethernut O/S (opern source co-operative multi-tasking) and C, with a GCCtoolchain to create the complete system, including an embedded web-server.

I was responsible for designing embedded electronic systems involving both digital & analogcircuits. Most of my work was related to development of microcontroller based interfaces toAMD586 based embedded controllers. I was involved in conceptualization, designing,procurement, schematics, PCB designing, low-level programming and debugging and testingthe prototype. My duties included design and maintenance of Data Acquisition Systems andtrouble shooting, maintenance and up gradation of High Speed Tracking Systems, in which Iwas assisted by a team of four technicians, under me.
