Job Responsibilities:• Implement sound purchasing procedures as per my company requirements & goals.• Review all contracts & approve/release them in SAP program system.• Review and approve/release all the direct and indirect purchase orders in SAP system that reviewed by Purchasing Supervisors.• Responsible for annual contracts and negotiations and personally negotiating for the large spends categories.• Track and report the complete cost savings realization for direct and indirect purchases.• Oversee the development and improvement of comprehensive procurement policy and processes to ensure that goods and services are sourced at the right (quality, cost, time) from reliable sources.• Advise on interpretation of procurement policy, providing expert advice & guidance to purchasing staff in order to support the achievement of corporate objectives.• Conduct negotiations with vendors and engineer long-term Frame Agreements with Strategic Suppliers to obtain the best price and optimum payment terms resulting in economic savings and increased quality/service levels.• Establish and maintain vendor strong relationships with core and strategic suppliers from local and overseas and conduct periodic evaluation of their performance.• Professional image of purchasing achievements are conveyed to the top/higher management.Procurements Planning and Coordination:• Coordinate closely with the requesting departments, support them in planning the upcoming material requirements on monthly and quarterly basis in order to prioritize requirements and take pro-active steps to reserve and secure the raw materials. • Oversee and manage the daily operations of procurement activities, functions, also coordinate on production planning schedule (raw materials requirements status).• Coordinate with finance and technical departments regarding material and service rough price level estimates and guarantee procuring at or lower than agreed prices.• Coordinate with Finance for defining payment terms’ as well as legal and risk management aspects of transaction (e.g. appropriate hedging of traded commodities prices).• operating plans that accurately represent anticipated operation and development costs, so allow accurate business planning and cost management which allow big savings achievement.• Full knowledge in customs clearance, (SABER, HSC Harmonized System Code, SFDA); also, how to utilize the Saudi governmental advantages (Customs Exemptions) & industrial encouragement as well as the international free trade agreements.
