As a camp counselor I was responsible for organizing activities for a large number of kids from ages 7 to 16. It is most important to make sure all kids are being treated equally and getting the full attention they need. Safety is a very important part as a counselor and it is important to promote a safe environment. I also taught dance at the camp which was another great leadership experience for me. It taught me how to be a better leader and listener. For example when I am listening to some of the students own ideas but also when I am teaching the group on my own.

As a food runner it takes skill and organization to bring out food to customers. The biggest responsibility is communicating with costumers and kitchen staff. Without this communication, we would not know where the food goes and if it is the correct order. It is very important to always communicate with your costumers to make sure they are satisfied before leaving the table.
