My current position is that of owning the Performance Development portfolio from the perspective of process, principles, and system for all divisions across the organisation. Being so close to the portfolio has made me passionate about enhancing the client experience in this area, continuously improving, and enlivening the process with the view to ensuring that global best practices are accomplished.Prior to my current position, I assisted in facilitating the change from an Excel- based Performance Management process to SAP SuccessFactors HR System. This saw me upskilling managers and employees across the organisation with respect to Performance and Goals as well as Succession and Development. In the process, I developed sustainable and credible relationships with leaders and provided me with an SME status from a principle and process point of view. In addition, it created awareness that we have only tapped the surface of what is possible from a Talent Management point of view and that there is enormous potential to apply the initiatives and track the return on investment for the business.Before facilitating the change from manual to in-system Talent Management, I spent time across the business as follows:- Learning partner to the strategic people partner in Credit, Finance and Marketing- Learning and development: The environment provided exposure to various leadership concepts and development principles. Conducting learning interventions with various divisions in the business gave me a sense of the real-life dynamics in various team environments. - Branch Manager: My thorough knowledge of the Operations environment has assisted in my relationship and partnership with them from a Talent Management perspectiveBefore my current company, I was an entrepreneur and owned my own business. Before that I managed a branch of the Automobile Association for many years.My work ethic, understanding of the Talent Management portfolio, positivity, energy, enthusiasm, and agility will contribute to the success of various portfolios.
