I joined the charity sector as I am driven by an inherent sense of altruism and compassion. I’m ambitious in the sense that I want to always do my best and encourage those around me to do the same. Those things combined have given me over 20 successful years as a professional fundraiser.I’m lucky enough to have gained experience across all types of income generation and business development including corporate partnerships, community, events, philanthropy, trusts and individual giving. Always wanting to develop personally, as I have moved into more senior roles, I have also become an inspiring leader and manager.My Belbin team role type is Plant – Implementer meaning I combine creativity with practicality to both generate ideas and take the action needed to make them a reality... 50% strategy and 50% operations!Outside of work I enjoy amateur dramatics (I’m not afraid of an audience which is useful when giving presentations) and language learning, currently I’m taking lessons in Italian (building those communication skills).I’m committed to ensuring those wanting to donate, raise funds or volunteer can and have a wonderful experience when they do – if that is you, get in touch I’d love to hear from you.
