Changed career to supporting autistic adults with behaviour and epilepsy two years ago. Background previously teaching History and Classics in secondary schools where I became interested in autism and behaviour.I have worked in many schools in the Manchester area including PRUs, primary and nurseries.I thrive on challenges and love that no day is the same. I enjoy coming away from work feeling I have learned something new or about myself or helped the person I have been working with to communicate or just kept them safe if they have had a seizure etc.I enjoy learning new skills and going back to education. I love to travel and see historical sites (my passion for History has never died).I have experience in a number of social care settings; children and young people including within the care system, adult care including medical needs, behavioural and emotional support needs and mental health.
