The Director of Hospital Services is responsible for, but not limited to, the operational management and oversight of OBHG’s hospitalist programs. The Director of Hospital Services will have a visible presence at program locations and will focus on establishing professional relationships with the entire hospitalist team, hospital C-suite executives, case management, as well as community providers and specialty physicians. The Director of Hospital Services will report to OBHG’s Vice President of Operations. This position will also team with other operations management and supervisory personnel to respond to incidents as required assuring minimum disruption of service.Position Responsibilities: Essential • Builds, develops and manages operational relationships capable of carrying out needed operations strategies and improving employee relations.o Develop relationships vital for implementation of hospitalist program (new programs). Corporate Engagement with Hospitalists (POC) (shared with physician advocate) Administrative C-Suite relationships Hospital implementation team • Set establish and measure performance objectives for the hospitalist program(s). Performance objectives are to be established in cooperation with our hospital partners wherever appropriate, and in alignment with their goals. o Coordinate support services and management resources in order to meet performance objectives and expectations. Part-time biller logistics/concerns Billing/OSA questions from staff Hospital Invoicing and credits New MD orientation/training (shared with TL) Hospital Invoicing and credits OBED setup, policies, compliance OBED issues Internal clinic management with MDO
