Adena Adams is a recent graduate from Agnes Scott College, where she studied Studio Art, English Literature, Africana Studies and Film. She enjoys experimenting in various mediums to better understand their intersections, and their roots in the history of her people. She recalls her love of the arts first arising while watching cartoons as a small child. She became enamored with the vivid colors and textures they used, and became fixated on recreating the feelings of her childhood throughout her work. Her creativity, coupled with a passion for personal development and service, has served her greatly in her previous role as a Digital Literacy Tutor. She hopes to translate the skills she has acquired in her previous position, as well as her natural propensity for the arts, into a position in animation or illustration in the future.
