I joined Blinkit (formerly Grofers), an Indian e-commerce startup, as their second backend engineer in November 2014. Over time Grofers has gathered a funding of 440 million USD. I worked here for about 4 years during which, apart from building the MVP from scratch, I played various roles in different teams including: - building systems like: * Order Management * Last Mile Logistics * Shopping cart * Merchant Marketplace * Purchase Order - breaking down a monolithic system into micro-services and configuring them to scale - building a central messaging system through which micro-services interact - building infrastructural tools to help other teams write scalable and secure softwareAt Grofers, I worked on technologies like Python, Django, Flask, Go, Scala, AWS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Docker, Ansible, etc.
