Germany

Raised financial support as staff of Young Life's Military Community Youth Ministry. Directed relational outreach program to 6th - 12th grade American military dependents on a U.S. Army base in Germany. Recruited, trained, and supervised staff and volunteers, developed working relationships with chaplains and commanders, spoke at youth camps, assisted home office in European staff training, developed curriculum and training materials, and led "hands on" youth outreach to include "club" meetings, discussion groups, camps, service projects, mentoring, and counseling. Site Director for Europe-wide service project involving over 400 people. Part of the school crisis response team after 9/11 attack. Promoted to Director of the ministry's largest program in Europe, overseeing several staff and volunteers.
