De-icing using low frequency Acoustic resonance• Research on the proof of concept of de-icing aerospace structures (metallic and carbon fibre) using low frequency acoustic resonance.• Experiments in a specialized icing wind tunnel to "ice" surfaces and to perform de-icing tests.• Performed modal and frequency response simulations on ANSYS to understand the behaviour of the ice-structure interface.• Created a manual for the electro-mechanical multi-physics module of ANSYS to implement Piezo-actuators using APDL command snippets.

• Performed a Validation study of the Fluid Structure Interaction capabilities of LS-DYNA using the Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics module.• Involved a qualitative study of the concepts of Aeroelasticity and the SPH module of LS-DYNA to simulate various Aeroelastic responses.
