Devops Engineer
Current- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical applications and systems- Implement and maintain high-availability systems and services- Develop and implement monitoring solutions to detect issues and ensure system health- Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and restore service as quickly as possible- Analyze and improve system performance and resource utilization- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and load testing- Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and backup strategies- Set up and maintain monitoring and alerting for AWS resources using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools- Perform performance tuning and optimization of AWS environments to ensure efficient resource utilization- Implement and manage security best practices, including IAM roles, policies, and security groups- Develop and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans for AWS environments, ensuring regular testing and validation of backup and recovery processes- Monitor and analyze AWS spending, and implement cost-saving strategies using AWS Cost Explorer and other tools to identify and address inefficiencies- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, management, and monitoring tasks utilizing scripting languages such as Python and Bash- Implement containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes and Amazon ECS, and manage/scale containerized applications in the AWS environment
