An opportunity I am extremely thankful for is my job as a teacher's assistant (TA). As a teacher's assistant, i have had the opportunity to cultivate my experience, leadership, and communication skills. As a TA, I teach students in their design and printing of 3D parts in NX. This has improved my knowledge of the NX software and helped me to refine my teaching skills, as I have to explain technical concepts in simple language.I also currently volunteer at my church as a youth group leader. As a youth group leader, I work with diverse groups of students, helping them to cultivate relationships with each other, as well as grow in their faith. I work with students on our normal Wednesday night gathering, where I run a small group for the 6th and 7th grade boys, with another leader's assistance. I also facilitate a Sunday morning Bible study, where I ask discussion questions and encourage discussion.My range of experiences have given me the skills of leadership and communication. I have also developed strong interpersonal skills through my volunteer and professional positions.
