It was a 5 star Business hotel project in which ‘BLUE RIDGE HOTELS PVT. LTD’ was the Client and Pratibha Industries Ltd. was the Contractor.Working as an Intern in the Execution Department from the Contractor's side, I learned on-site Construction terminologies. I used to inspect the Formwork alignment & Dimensions, Reinforcement works, Checking of slab surface and other basic inspection by referring Architectural and Structural Drawings before casting the slab.I also used to estimate the Concrete quantity and did Productivity study of Shuttering and Concrete.Apart from this I acted as a Coordinating medium between the Client and the Contractor through which I used to deal with the technical issues and used to suggest few practical feasible solutions after the technical problem analysis.

The project was a Commercial-cum-Residential project which is located in Mumbai. The project gave exposure to various construction and planning activities at the site and estimation of concrete quantity was one of responsibility given to me.
