• Conceptualized and designed innovative, reusable foldable shipping pallets with vendor to transport automotive parts. Results include significantly reducing damage to parts during truck shipments. The new pallet design, engineered for a lifespan of 12-15 years surpasses current single-use wooden crates. Estimated cost savings between $850,000-$950,000+ per pallet for shipments to the Indiana plant and ~$400,000 to the Canada plant.• Implementation of one new pallet would conserve 263,000-313,000 lbs. of wood over 12 years in addition to cost savings. New pallet gives department more control over shipments and packing, negating 1-2 weeks wait time for current wooden crates to be supplied and packed by vendors. • Led initiatives to address challenges related to late spare parts list submissions in the existing process. Facilitated meetings with 5 cross-functional departments. Through gap analysis and agreement with stakeholders, introduced an optimized kaizen-driven that was documented and implemented as the new standard. • Engineered a light weight, portable cart in partnership with vendor, capable of transporting an 80 lbs. measurement arm box and a 180 lbs. base cart. The ergonomic design allowed for seamless movement and alleviated physical strain on team members who previously had to push a 500 lbs. cart and carrying the arm box and base cart all separately.

Facilitated meetings and managed the procurement of 6015 spare parts to ensure successful start of production (SOP). Collaborated with Purchasing and Storage to resolve supply chain issues. • Maintained and presented project status reports to senior management during weekly meetings. Achieved 94% procurement at five months ahead of SOP. • Led working groups to establishment and documentation of the Maintenance Spare Part inventory management and restocking process (Kanban/Re-Order Point).• Established the Kanban process utilizing Toyota’s Ji Kotei-Kanketsu (JKK) “Built in Quality with Ownership”, Kaizen (Continuous Improvement), and Toyota Thinking principles. Results improve maintenance efficiency of repair, inventory stock, and cost after implementation across multiple North American Toyota Manufacturing plants.

Researched in the field of noise acoustics, particularly for the F-18's jet engine. I experimented with dozens of 3D printed nozzles at the lab in the far-field with 14 microphone arrays and near field to collect noise data. I gained a deeper knowledge of designing models on Solidworks and reading technical design and drawings. I problem-solved and designed a piece of equipment on Solidworks and 3D printed it at the lab which significantly increased the accuracy of our data being collected.
