About Antonio De La Vega De León

I am a Research Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb and my research focuses on novel applications of data visualization and machine learning to chemical data. I have a strong publication record, as well as large amounts of teaching experience in data science and chemoinformatics in my previous post as Lecturer in Chemoinformatics in the University of Sheffield. I worked on the Marie Curie project D3i4AD against Alzheimer’s disease, developing machine learning models to aid phenotypic screening. I am highly organized, very adaptable, and have excellent presentation skills. I have a large amount of experience with Python, R and Java. I am also passionate about science outreach and help organize events for the public.
