• Finance team lead for Rio Tinto Iron Ore SAP implementation.• Led team of business secondees integrated with Accenture personnel (total team size of 12).• Developed project plan for migration to Rio Tinto global SAP system for Finance function, following Prince2 project methodology. • Led team through solution review, gap analysis and closeout, data migration, training and Go Live. • Project management & governance tasks including planning, resource estimation, risk management and project reporting.• Successful Go Live (September 2008) for Iron Ore business unit. • Implementation of new costing models (based on production planning) for all Iron Ore WA operating sites, fully exploiting Rio Tinto BW reporting capabilities. • Successful implementation of custom built special ledger to satisfy joint-venture requirements.

• Prepare and submit executive reports (including analysis) to Group Controllers.• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements.• Prepare earnings forecasts and yearly plan financials and associated presentations for CFO and Executive Committee.• Re-design of the Iron Ore Profit Forecast Model to facilitate continuous planning initiatives as well as integration of SAP-BW functionality.
