Responsible for driving revenue growth in an assigned territory by engaging with channel partners, service, solution and value added providers. Focused on developing new business accounts and further penetration into existing accounts through regional marketing initiatives. Developed regional go-to-market plans with various partners to evangelize value proposition and trained them to sell the “security solution,” and to engage with Professional Services reps to leverage multi-vendor relationships. Responsible for developing and marketing Sun's Internet Appliance to channel partners, service providers, solution providers and systems integrators in the Education, CRM, Call Center, Financial, and Telco vertical markets. Implemented marketing campaign to facilitate the distribution of new solution stack towards partners and strategic alliances with respect to software, enterprise servers, storage (NAS & SAN), networking (LAN & WAN) as well as professional services. Developed relations with key partners such as Citrix, Microsoft, and IBM to facilitate the development of end user solutions. Targeted customers such as Philips Semiconductor, Great Western Life, Perot Systems, EDS, General Motors, ABWatley, and E-Trade. Carried a cumulative MBO objective of $20M per year inclusive of Professional Service engagements.
