CEO at Soundreef Ltd. This Italian company, with headquarters in the UK and Italy and operating worldwide, was founded in 2011 and is an Independent Management Entity (EU Directive 2014/26/EU). Soundreef is listed as a licensing body by the UK Intellectual Property Office, and offers services similar to those of Collective Management Organizations (CMOs) such as SIAE, PRS, GEMA, SGAE etc. I joined Soundreef in July 2016, initially as a consultant for its business development and soon after was appointed VP Music and, in March 2020, CEO. Using my contacts in the artistic and legal community, built over the past 30 years in the Italian music industry, we have been able to sign many superstars to Soundreef and our membership has grown to over 26.000 Italian writers and music publishers as part of our worldwide total of 43.000.Previously active in the recorded music industry (Universal and BMG Italy), I subsequently worked in creative consulting, production, international project development, artist management, music publishing, working in one or more of these capacities with artists such as Giusy Ferreri, Gigi D'Alessio, Il Volo, Plácido Domingo, Fabri Fibra and companies like Panini S.p.A, Sony Music, EA-Electronic Arts Europe, etc. -President and CEO of BMG Ricordi S.p.A. in Rome and Milan until the merger with Sony Music in 2004. I joined BMG in Rome in 1996 as Managing Director. -Managing Director of Polydor at Polygram Italy (now Universal) in Milan (1990-1996)-Marketing Director of Polygram International in London (1986-1990). Prior positions with Polygram in The Netherlands and Argentina.
