In collaboration with Kate Livingstone, with whom I worked for many years when she was Head of HR & Recruitment at Osborne Clarke, we have set up a different kind of legal recruitment search and consultancy firm. Livingstone Bott Talent focuses exclusively on senior lawyers in the Digital Business sector, specialising in technology, communications, IP, media, data, AI - and the emergent areas where they converge. Together with clients, we tailor a strategic approach, whether as a law firm to help find the expert hires that will drive its business forward, or as a candidate to help secure the best platform for their next move. Having many years' experience in building and developing award winning Digital Business capabilities in two major legal practices, both through organic growth and recruitment strategies, at the centre of these responsibilities has been securing and integrating a significant number of high-calibre lateral hires across the digital transformation spectrum - on many of which Kate and I worked together. I am very happy to have now re-established this effective working relationship.

I have 30 years of experience as a corporate lawyer working in the convergence of technology, mobile, communications, media and the internet, having been involved in many of the “milestone” transactions in the digital transformation arena. I am also a leading member of Osborne Clarke’s specialist Group focusing on Blockchain, ICOs and AI applications.Having completed two terms as international head of our Digital Business sector, I have now relocated to our Hong Kong office in anticipation of regulatory approval for the merger with our associated firm there, Koh Vass & Co, which was set up in 2014. I am working with the team in Hong Kong to grow the firm's intently sector-focussed presence in the markets in Asia, through further business development and recruitment. We are expanding the team with additional specialists to underline the expertise we can deliver, here and internationally, across the full spectrum of digital transformation and our other sector specialisms which are increasingly overlapping with Digital Business – so, FinTech, AdTech, Digital Health, and so on. With clients ranging from early-stage to listed multi-nationals amongst the corporates and from family offices to VC and private equity funds amongst the institutions, I have extensive experience of complex domestic and multi-jurisdictional transactions and have built up a considerable network of contacts across the Digital Business sector. I have worked for many of my clients for decades and am known for relationship-driven and pragmatic advice

Having completed his 3 terms as Head of Corporate, Adrian now heads up Osborne Clarke's specialist Digital Business sector group which serves all businesses, from early stage to multi-national, where technology, content and communications connect. His role involves not only advising clients in this sector but also overseeing the collaboration of OC's specialists in this sector across the offices in Palo Alto, New York and continental Europe.Predominantly acting for mobile communications, digital media, technology and internet companies, Adrian's clients range from start-ups to multi-nationals and publicly quoted companies across Europe and the US.Adrian has been active in numerous significant corporate joint ventures and has handled many of the "milestone" internet-related M&A transactions recently.Adrian qualified in 1980 and since then has practised as a corporate lawyer. Following 15 years as a partner (and for 9 years as Head of Corporate) at Olswang, he joined Osborne Clarke as a partner and Head of Corporate in May 2002. He was recently rated as being “exceptional in his field” by his peers in the Chambers & Partners guide to the legal profession.
