Recruitment and management of volunteers on a day to day basis and providing role specific and organisational mandatory safeguarding training to new volunteers when they join roles I manage and ensuring they remain compliant with organisational training requirements including refreshing their safeguarding training at regular intervals.I have designed the current training materials that are used for the volunteers ensuring that they are accessible to everybody who wishes to volunteer with us.I am also a team superuser for Viewpoint, our customer database and for our teams automated connection system Twilio which allows us to connect conference calls together more quickly and efficiently whilst providing a seamless level of service for our customers.

Working on a U 7 month development opportunity as an Acting Team Leader alongside my substantive role as a Phone and Digital Co-Ordinator I am responsible for managing the Confidence Building Team Administrator and also leading on the reporting and statistical development work from the Ascent CRM system that we use to monitor outcomes from our face to face and phone based Living With Sight Loss courses around the UK. I am also a member of the Confidence Building management team and participate in management meetings and decisions which affect the Confidence Building teamI am also responsible for training visually impaired members of staff and volunteers on the use of the Ascent CRM system so that they can be trained using their required access technology. I am home based in Hertfordshire but travel extensively around the UK

A freelance opportunity which is still very much in its infancy.I developed this idea, as I realised that people working for themselves or smaller companies and organisations may need printing services, but perhaps do not have the facilities to undertake the work themselves, and do not have the finances available to pay a bigger printing house.I am happy to undertake small print jobs mmfor people, using either Inkjet or LaserJet printing and can produce work in colour of black and white.This is a venture I intend to grow over time and look forward to working with clients in the future.

Voluntary work looking after horses and ponies and assisting with client riding lessons.Liaising with instructors and other staff to ensure that the correct horses are ready for lessons at the right time, and that they have all the additional tack which may be needed by the clients.

I have responsibility for managing a number of tele-conferences which bring Talk and Support participants together on a weekly basis.I have responsibility for ensuring that invoices are paid on time and are correctly coded so that the costs of the project can be accurately recorded.Responsibility for sending out literature about the service to interested parties and for taking details of new referrals over the telephone and by e-mail.Calling back people who have been referred for the service to obtain more detailed information about them, and to seek their availability and whether they are suitable for the service.

My position is at the heart of the team and my work involves liaising with a number of people.I work closely with the Team Leader and Service Manager to ensure the smooth day to day running of Talk and Support, but also work closely with the Volunteer Training Manager to ensure that volunteers are recognised for the time that they give us.I also work with the Participant Care Administrator and the Volunteer Support Administrator to ensure that any issues which could affect the weelbeing of the service participants are taken care of and also to ensure that the volunteer facilitators are given the support that they need.
