In 2002, Adrian joined ACTSYS as an Associate Senior Consultant to provide consultancy services for revamp, performance monitoring & energy optimization, energy management system, oil movements improvement study for refineries and petrochemical complexes. Major customers include Petronas (Malaysia), Ethylene Malaysia, MTBE Malaysia, Asean Bintulu Fertilizer and Vopak Singapore.

Shell Singapore Pulau Bukom Refinery And Shell Holland

Upon graduation in 1970, he worked in Shell’s Singapore Pulau Bukom refinery till 1995, holding senior management positions viz Physical Process Technology Manager, Oil Movements Manager, Operations Plant Manager. During that period, he was cross-posted to Shell in Holland as a Senior Process Development Engineer for 3 years,In the technological area, he has extensive hands-on experience in thermal cracking, hydrocracking, hydrotreating, reforming, distillation, gas treating and oil movements technology. He also has extensive experience in process design or revamp of distillation and hydrotreating plants. In the operations area, he placed a strong focus on meeting production and product quality targets, operational safety and industrial relations.Adrian left Shell in end of 1995 to live in Christchurch, New Zealand. He was the General Manager in Contec Dairy Software Ltd till year 2000. The company was providing information management software for the milk processing plants in New Zealand and Australia.
